Obiectives

The aim of ENATE is to develop the European dimension of aviation education and training by facilitating the transfer of knowledge in the field of air transport and developing innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, to ensure a systematic dialogue of higher education institutions with the business community and international air transport bodies for education and training in line with the requirements of the world market.
In order to achieve its mission, the Association aims to cooperate with various organisations in Romania and abroad in order to develop joint programmes, projects and other activities.

In order to achieve its purpose, ENATE has the following objectives: 1, To represent and defend the interests of the members of the Association;

  1. To promote excellence in aviation education and training through close collaboration of higher education institutions with the business sector and international bodies;
  2. To participate in national and international projects related to the aviation sector;
  3. To collect and make available to interested parties relevant and up-to-date information on the aviation industry, aviation education and training;
  4. To carry out regular analyses of occupations and qualifications in the air transport industry to ensure a good match between the occupations required in aviation and the qualifications offered by higher education institutions or training providers;
  5. To develop and implement curricula and training programmes in line with labour market requirements;
  6. Organize national and international activities to support aviation education and training, such as conferences, seminars, symposia, courses, workshops, study tours;
  7. To develop cooperation between the members of the association, other higher education institutions or scientific research centres, organisations in the aviation sector and the business community;
  8. To develop a possible collaboration with EASA, ICAO, ACI, European Commission (DG Transport, DG Education and DG Employment) on aviation education and training;
  9. Become a member of recognised international associations in the air transport industry;
  1. To inform the members of the Association of specific new initiatives promoted by the legislative and decision-making institutions of the European Union, which may relate to aviation education and training;
  2. To support individual members in their actions to implement the activities of the Association and to achieve its objectives;
  3. To communicate to the Government of Romania the concerns and legislative initiatives of the Association, through the relevant ministries, to propose initiatives, mechanisms and procedures aimed at promoting knowledge transfer and excellence in aviation education and training;
  4. Create a database of aviation teachers, trainers and experts and ensure interconnection with similar databases abroad;
  5. To promote other activities in the field of aviation education and training at European level in order to develop and diversify the work of the Association.

a) The objectives of the Association shall be achieved with the help of its own material base or belonging to other natural or legal persons, which the Association shall use on the basis of any legally concluded agreements.
b) In order to achieve the purpose for which it has been established, the Association may conclude contracts and agreements with various legal or natural persons, whether private or public law, insofar as they do not exceed the limits of the purpose set out in these Statutes.
c) The Association may set up commercial companies on the basis of Article 47 of O.G. 26/2000 republished, with subsequent amendments and additions. The dividends obtained from the activities of these companies shall be reinvested in those companies or used for the purpose of the Association.
